Tapan R. Kavi
MD
Tapan R. Kavi, M.D. currently works as a Neuro Intensive Care Physician at Riverside Methodist Hospital, OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio. He has led many research studies through his career as a Principal Investigator, and received multiple grant awards. Previously, Tapan completed his medical education at PramukhSwami Medical College (India), Neurology residency at Cooper, Neurocritical Care fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and worked as director of Neurocritical Care at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.
Tapan’s many awards include Best Teaching Fellow 2016, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Golden Apple Award for excellence in medical teaching 2019, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. His teaching portfolio includes both classroom and invited lectures. He is an Ad-Hoc Journal reviewer for the following publications: Clinics and Practice, Cureus, BMJ Case Reports, Journal of Neurology. Additionally, Tapan has authored an extensive number of abstracts, book chapters and peer-reviewed articles.
