Technologist Course

The Technical Course for Allied Health Professionals occurs on Thursday, March 26, 2020. We are pleased to bring:

  • Patrick Sorenson, RPSGT who will present a novel talk on “From Neuron to K-Complex” exploring the role that the brain plays in sleep disorders. Patrick is an expert in pediatric sleep technology and will also be presenting “Sids—What a Sleep Professional Should Know”.
  • Kristina Stpeter Weaver, RPSGT will get back to basics in presenting “Handling Emergencies in the Sleep Center” and will advance our attendees on “The Sleep Navigator Role Throughout the Continuum of Care”.
  • Byron Jamerson, RPSGT, CCSH returns this year to cover “Pap Options—When to Choose CPAP, BPAP, ASV, or AVAPS”
  • We are pleased that Kevin Asp, RPSGT (a marketing expert) will present this year on “Sleep Center Marketing—Attention is the Biggest Asset”
  • Marilyn Swick is attending and presenting “Steps to Securing Clinical Trials in Your Sleep Center”
  • Debbie Akers, RRT, RPSGT, is presenting on two topics that will bring much needed information to the audience—“Recognizing abnormal EEG activity” and “Developing a seamless link between the sleep study and DME”
  • The society is honored that Wendy Smith, RPSGT, CCSH will enlighten the audience on developing an HSAT mailout program when she presents “Achieving the Quadruple AIM of Healthcare: The Role of a HSAT Mail Direct Program”.
  • Mary Cordero, PhD, MS, RPSGT will present an exciting topic on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Sleep
