This lecture aims to explore the critical aspects of integrating Electroencephalogram (EEG) technology in ICU settings. Over the course of the presentation Prof Citerio will highlight the necessity of EEG implementation in the ICU, detailing specific indications and discuss the challenges intensivists face in adopting this technology. He will introduce Quantitative EEG (qEEG) as a potential solution to these barriers and provide a case study on successful EEG implementation in an ICU setting.
