Dr. Lawrence Hirsch, Professor of Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine, will discuss the use of real-time or close to real-time neurotelemetry, methods of obtaining rapid initial EEGs, detecting events other than seizures using quantitative EEG (including ischemia, high intracranial pressure, etc) and invasive EEG recordings. This will be done via review of the literature, especially recent publications, and sample cases.
