aEEG is an evidence-based practice tool which is highly valuable for monitoring brain activity in neonates in the NICU. Setting up a new program is often intimidating to organizations as they work toward integration of aEEG into everyday practice. During this eSeminar, we will brainstorm ideas and concepts that will help the audience bridge the gap between aEEG and clinical practice by providing tools and suggestions to set you up for success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify benefits for infants and families with aEEG being integrated into practice
  • Identify potential barriers to facilitate adoption of aEEG technology into practice
  • Understand the variance in roles between the physician and the bedside nurse
  • Identify categories of adult learners and which tools may be necessary to appeal to each learner
  • Identify type of adopters and ways petition to each with information in order to set the program up for success
