Nerve Conduction Studies: Amplitudes, Values and Pitfalls

This lecture, presented by Dr. Bashar Katirji from the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, will focus on and discuss Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS). Dr. Katirji will highlight NCS amplitudes and stress on the importance and pitfalls of accurate studies and measurements. He will also present several real-life cases emphasizing amplitude values and using side to side comparison in arriving at the correct diagnosis. This lecture will also discuss the importance of motor and sensory amplitudes in localization, diagnosis and prognosis.
