In this continuing series on Neuromuscular Ultrasound education Dr. Strakowski will focus on the unique advantages of neuromuscular ultrasound, over other imaging modalities, such as it being non-invasive, dynamic, painless and portable in diagnosing patients with muscle and nerve disorders.
Course Objectives:
1. Learn the sonographic image of normal and abnormal peripheral nerves and muscles
2. Learn and understand use of NMUS in neuropathies
3. Learn and understand use of NMUS in myopathies
4. Understand the adjunctive value of neuromuscular ultrasound along with electrodiagnosis
