This lecture will give an overview of neuromuscular ultrasound (NMUS) in the neuromuscular clinic: the technique’s indications, limitations, pitfalls, and the importance of correlating with the clinical and EDX picture.

After an introductive part, application of NMUS will be demonstrated via real-life clinical-EDX-NMUS cases, from common situations (nerve entrapment, trauma) to advanced cases such as inflammatory and hereditary neuropathies.
