Teamwork is an essential element to any aEEG Monitoring program in the NICU. aEEG requires a full team approach for management at the bedside as well as interpretation of the traces. This lecture will focus on all of the essential elements to ensure successful aEEG monitoring in the NICU and discuss the importance of the role of the bedside nurse in managing electrodes, identifying neurological changes, and eliminating artifacts.
