This webinar will focus on the dramatic impact of COVID-19 on the healthcare system and the practice of neurology since being declared a Pandemic on March 11th, 2020. Hospitals in New York, an epicenter, were forced to reorganize many departments and clinical protocols for EEG and use of disposables and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to reduce the risk of exposure to the neurophysiology technologists and staff.

Our speaker for this webinar is Dr. Nitin Sethi, Associate Professor of Neurology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center who was in the epicenter treating patients with COVID-19.
Dr. Sethi is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in epilepsy and sleep medicine. He received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University of Delhi and completed his residency in Internal Medicine in India. He then completed a neurology residency at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in New York and fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology from Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Sethi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), Diplomate of American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN) with added competency in Central Clinical Neurophysiology, Epilepsy Monitoring and Intraoperative Monitoring, Diplomate American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)/Association of Ringside Physicians (ARP) and a Certified Ringside Physician. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) and serves on the board of the Association of Ringside Physicians.
