This webinar by Mark Pressman, Ph.D. will focus on a variety of sleep disorders presenting to a Sleep Disorders Center for diagnosis and treatment. The main objectives of this seminar include classification of the various types of Sleep Disorders, the impact of Sleep Disorders not only on work, family life and social interactions but also on the legal and possibly criminal consequences of sleep-related violence.

  • Mark Pressman

    Mark Pressman

    Ph.D.

    Dr. Pressman, a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and a forensic consultant, has over 35 years’ experience in all aspects of sleep and sleep disorders including clinical, research and laboratory/technical operation. He has been responsible for more than 50,000 sleep studies and involved in the diagnosis of more than 20,000 patients. Dr. Pressman is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA and a Clinical Professor at Lankenau Institute for Medical Research in Wynnewood, PA. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and a peer reviewer for numerous Journals including Sleep, Respiratory Care, Stroke, Neurology and Forensic Sciences and also an author of several books on Sleep, Polysomnogram Interpretation, Sleepwalking and Criminal Behavior. Dr. Mark Pressman is currently on staff at the Sleep Disorders Center at the Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood, PA and the Sleep Disorders Center Mainline Health Systems Ambulatory Medicine Center in Broomall, PA.
